7 Things That Prove I Am Adulting All Wrong

CONFESSION.
I really don't think I am doing this adult thing right this week. I mean some weeks I surprise myself and have all my stuff together, you know one of those weeks where your hair is washed, you wear make up every day, you have breakfast every morning, go to bed at a reasonable time you know one of those weeks.

Well its fair to say that this week has not been a good week for adulting. This week I have failed and here is the proof.

1. After buying a brand new duvet I have spent more time in my bed than anywhere else.
2. I sent some clothes to my mum to iron because lets be honest, I just couldn't be bothered to do it for people to say 'you need to iron your top' because I did it that bad.
3. I did some washing and forgot. That was 4 days ago and you will be glad to know that they are still in the washing machine, festering away.
 4. The bin men came and picked up the rubbish on Monday. The bin is still at the bottom of the drive, its Friday. We even left the recycling box at the bottom of our shared path, after 5 days our neighbor brought it up for us.
5. I had biscuits for breakfast two days in a row.
6. I've had Greggs most day for lunch and Pizza or Pasta for tea because we have not done any food shopping and I would rather be in bed that go shopping. I mean Tesco does not seems appealing at the moment.
7. The curtains in the house have not been open for 4 days.

So there we have it. 7 things to prove that I am failing at being an adult this week.
Now lets me truthful, I can't be the only one, can i? Well I hope I am not.

Anyway I better go and clean my house, when I say clean, I mean put all the 'Stuff' in one room and close the door and hope no one goes in there kind of clean.

My Week Holiday

Its Sunday night and tomorrow Andrew is heading back to work. We have had the best week off together and if I am being honest I am a tad sad it is all over, the only thing that is making up for it is the fact that we are watching Harry Potter with the fire one and tonight we are having Ikea meatballs for tea. I mean perfect lazy evening or what.

This week we had so many ideas and plans but lets be honest not many of them happened and I spent a lot of my days colouring in and watching Miranda Sings new series on Netflix, so good, like seriously definitely head over and check it out.

But during my breaks from coloring in and Netflix we did go on a ton of adventures. So here is what we got up to.

MONDAY
A trip to the local farm for breakfast and to pick up some treats.

TUESDAY
A day of jobs around the house. We made our garden winter ready which apparently according to Andrew involves cutting down every tree and plant so our garden looks like its been hit by a twister. After that we heading for ice cream and to pick pumpkins.

WEDNESDAY
This has to be my favourite day by far, we went on a spa day. We spent hours swimming and in the wet suite and then had massages. Seriously it was so relaxing and so chilled out.

THURSDAY
I wasnt feeling 100% today so apart from binge watching The Mama Life on YouTube and speaking to a nice lady at Apple about my phone I didn't do much, i did how ever get myself on a little autumn walk for a few minutes before a storm came.

FRIDAY
A day of serious shopping. We clothes shopped, drank lots of coffee, ate our first ever Five Guys, got my phone fixed and spent a lot of money in Ikea.

SATURDAY
Today we had a proper homey day, like in our pjs till mid afternoon, fire one, lots of snacks consumed and a few loads of washing done.

SUNDAY
After a lie in we headed out for Sunday lunch and an afternoon walk. It was a pretty random day as usually I am in church all day so to not be doing that it blew my mind a bit. It was such a beautiful afternoon.

And well that bring us to know, I am sat down on the sofa under by favourite blanket drinking Pepsi max and enjoying the fact my house smells like Christmas.

Such a happy heart. This has been the best week.

So there we have it. A little diary re cap of my week.

The Perfect Autumn Nail Varnish

Autumn is here and I am buzzing for it so badly.

The summer clothes have been put away and the jumpers and cardigans are out. I have replaced the fresh smelling candles with yummy pumpkin spiced smells and we have even filled up the log basket in our living room ready for some evenings in front of the fire watching netflix.

Ahhhhhh Autumn oh how I have missed you.

One thing that I have done is picked myself up a brand new autumn coloured nail varnish and I have to say that this one is fast becoming my favourite.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine nail varnish in Berries and Cream. Oh my.... look at it.

So lets get down to it.
7 Reasons why i love this Nail Polish.

1. The colour. This is the perfect colour for me and for autumn.
2. It really is super shine.
3. Its definitely dries super fast you will be surprised.
4. One coat was enough.
5. Its cost £2.99 from Boots.
6. The brush, its a one of those large fat brushes so it makes applying so much easier.
7. Straight after painting my nails, I made brownies and chocolate chip muffins. I did a ton of washing up and they didn't chip or mess up.

So pretty. So what is your favourite autumnal nail varnish I would love to know?

Bomber Jacket Love

There everywhere, like everywhere. Even my brother has one, Mary Berry was rocking a flowery one on the Great British Bake Off and my niece had a tiny one that she wears with so much sass.

That's right I am talking about the Bomber Jacket.

I have been searching A LOT for the perfect Bomber Jacket and one that suits me. I tried on so many and was so surprised at how much, well lets me honest here, how I looked like a wolly in them but when I saw this one on Very I knew I needed to put in a little order and see what it would look like.

I love this jacket because to me its a super traditional Bomber Jacket. It is quite expensive at £45 but its so well made and is slightly padded and will definitely be the perfect jacket to wear as the weather changes.

I love wearing my jacket with black skinny jeans and a oversized tshirt. I haven't tried to rock it any other ways at the moment but I am so excited for autumn to come so I can try and wear my new jacket in tons of new ways.

So do you have a Bomber Jacket? How do you wear yours?
